"Social Status, Monkeys, and Permission to Fail" - An innovation live jam with Apollo 21's Danny Nathan

We focused today's conversation on how to build a culture of innovation inside organizations.

When Substack’s AI engine reviewed our (nearly) one-hour video, it thought the most important points were:

  • Culture is the most important drivers of a culture of innovation.

  • It’s critical to give people the permission to fail if you want them to take risks.

  • …and humans are social monkeys obsessed with status.

Is my observation about how humans are really just (mostly) hairless primates when it comes to how they interact really the most important? Or was it just the most catchy?

You’ll have to watch and see.

Thanks to Apollo 21’s Danny Nathan for joining me for this live jam!
