My interview on 2 Complicated 4 History
If we get 100 new subscribers to the 2C4H podcast, co-host Dr. Lynn Price Robbins agreed to play her first game of Monopoly live on air!

I’m excited to talk with anyone who wants to talk about history, and especially history that’s off-kilter, complicated, misremembered, or just plain forgotten. That’s where all the good stuff is.
2 Complicated 4 History is just such a place.
Here’s the pitch for the latest episode—just released last night!
Dr. Lynn Price Robbins and Isaac S. Loftus are joined by Innovation Historian Jason Voiovich to explore how many of today’s iconic products, entertainment, and cultural heroes trace their origins to the Great Depression. This era once again demonstrates that hardship often paves the road to innovation.

It was a blast to record.
Of course, the stories in my upcoming book, Bullfrogs, Bingo, and the Little House on the Prairie are fun to talk about—especially the complex story about the game Monopoly.
…and that’s where things got interesting.
Show co-host Dr. Lynn Price Robbins has never played a game. As in, never. Not once.
Her co-host, Isaac Loftus, couldn’t believe it. He said that if we get 100 likes on the show, we would need to play her first game live, on-air. We’ll need to figure out some logistics…maybe we’ll play on online version? Kids do this with video games. I’ve seen it on Youtube. So I know it works.
So, here’s my challenge for all of my readers.
We can do better than “likes.”
2C4H is a great show that needs more attention. You should go subscribe to it now (and please, listen to my episode too.) Our goal is 100 new subscribers.
Let’s make this happen! We can do this!
Here’s a little more about the podcast:
2 Complicated 4 History is a history podcast from Primary Source Media, that examines the “deleted scenes” of American history. In each episode, co-hosts Dr. Lynn Price Robbins and Isaac S. Loftus are joined by a different guest bringing a fresh perspective to the history you thought you knew. 2 Complicated 4 History delves into little-known topics that never make it into school textbooks or public discourse. The laid-back and entertaining show has a conversational tone and makes historical information approachable and not what you learned in your high school history class.
2 Complicated 4 History is the first entertainment property from Los Angeles and Philadelphia based Primary Source Media. Primary Source Media makes podcasts, television shows, digital content, and films about US History. Primary Source Media highlights defining moments, untold stories and the personalities of the individuals involved.
